Petition opposing Ige’s DLNR nomination surpasses goal

The citizen petition opposing Governor Ige’s selection of Carleton Ching to head up the Department of Land and Natural Resources has passed its goal of 4,000 signatures, and is now on its way to hitting 5,000.

In the meantime, Governor Ige today stood behind his nomination of the Castle & Cooke lobbyist, in a tweet from Star-Advertiser reporter Marcel Honore.
