Orchestra of the Hawaiian Islands to feature Danny Akaka, Jr.

Musicians from across Hawaii will perform with the Orchestra of the Hawaiian Islands on Saturday, January 8 from 5:00 p.m. at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.

“Lo’ihi: Birth of an Island,” will feature special guest Danny Akaka, Jr. and a program of Hawaiian classical music led by Resident Conductor Philip Simmons. 

Tickets for this benefit concert are $75 (includes pre-concert drinks at 4:00 p.m. and discount off dinner at hotel), with proceeds benefiting the Orchestra of the Hawaiian Islands, a nonprofit organization.
