Balinese architect Popo Danes to speak at UH Manoa

The University of Hawaii School of Architecture Alumni Association will be hosting a presentation by Popo Danes, a well-known ASEAN award winning Balinese architect from Bali, on Wednesday, March 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hawaii School of Architecture auditorium, 2410 Campus Rd. 

Danes will be speaking on a selection of his projects located throughout Asia and will discuss his passion to integrate his work with the surrounding natural, cultural, and political environments. 

The lecture qualifies for 1 CEU credit and admission is free. Refreshments and a Gamelan Troup performing ambient music in the courtyard will round out the event, which targets students of architecture and design as well as professionals in the architectural and design fields.
